Psychologists literally change the world throughout the book. First, it meant a lot to this amateur psychologist to see the discipline of psychology given such a platform and the far-reaching implications of experimental results. It’s not a thrill ride, but Kahneman and Tversky are so riveting as characters that it doesn’t have to be one.īeyond all of that, reading The Undoing Project had a great effect on me personally for three reasons. Every bit of it is insightful, entertaining, and meaningful. It’s about a friendship deeper than any I (and probably you) have ever experienced, a matching of wits and personalities that fiction writers could never dream up, and a professional relationship as complex and convoluted as some of the article titles they came up with. The Undoing Project is more than just about two psychologists (Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky) changing the way we think about the world. Last Christmas, I was given multiple Amazon gift cards (because honestly, what else could I want?) and the first thing I ordered was this book. So I knew from the minute I heard about it that I wanted to buy The Undoing Project as soon as I could.
